Introduction

Graphing Calculator 2D Parametric is a graphing calculator which allows to build parametric curve. In parametric curves both x and y are functions of parameter, that is x=x(τ) and y=y(τ) . Here τ is a Greek letter tau. You can think of it as time. If x(τ) and y(τ) are smooth functions then corresponding graph resembles trajectory of a moving particle.

Characteristics

In the Edit Window you can type formulas of any complicity using functions denoted by buttons. The resulting function is calculated at 1600 points of the τ range. The left window gives a general view of graph on entire range, the right window gives detailed view at chosen point. The right window corresponds to the Magnifying Square on the left window. Navigate the Magnifying Square by clicking on the left window or using navigation buttons.

The calculator has capability to calculate numerically first two derivatives, area under curve (definite integral ), and length of curve (length integral).
